Breaking News from the Book World

One Week Until New Go Teen Writers Book is Released With Some Extra Surprises

HAPPY EARLY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!!!! My family’s got some pretty crazy family traditions we’ve got going on that we do every year. And, let’s say it never involves a turkey!

Sooooo, in case you haven’t been hearing about this new book coming out, that’s what we’re gonna be talking about today!!! And don’t forget to catch some extra Thanksgiving surprises at the end of today’s post!!!! Aaannnndddd drop a note in the comments!!!! I just LOOOOVE hearing from all of my readers! There has never been a comment that has failed to make me smile. (And, honestly, I believe every time a new person’s comments, I end up doing a happy dance. And some of you earlier ones first comments got an actual scream. So, yes, comments are VERY important to me!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

There it is, ladies and gentlemen!!! The cover you’ve all been seeing for the new book, Go Teen Writers: Write Your Novel!! By three AMAZING authors behind the OUTSTANDING blog, Go Teen Writers. A place where they give writing tips and encouragement geared toward younger authors!!!! Here’s the blurb:

You have a story to tell, donโ€™t you? Or maybe you simply want to try your hand at fiction writing. Perhaps youโ€™ve given it your best effort, but simply didnโ€™t have enough tools in your tool box to finish that first draft. Wherever youโ€™re at with this novel-writing thing, popular bloggers Stephanie Morrill, Jill Williamson, and Shannon Dittemore totally understand.
They know itโ€™s hard to finish a first draft. To stay motivated until the end. To feel like a โ€œrealโ€ writer. They know because theyโ€™ve been there too.
In Go Teen Writers: Write Your Novel, youโ€™ll learn:
โ€ข There is no such thing as one right way to write a novel.
โ€ข How to take an idea and give it a beginning, middle, and end.
โ€ข What story structure means and how it strengthens a book.
โ€ข Different approaches to plotting a novel.
โ€ข How to develop characters worth reading about.
โ€ข Strategies for creating memorable storyworlds and settings.
โ€ข What theme is and how to use it to enrich your story.
โ€ขWhat to do when your first draft is finished.
Thereโ€™s no doubt about it. Learning to write a novel from beginning to end is a challenge. But with this book as your guide, youโ€™ll see that when youโ€™re in possession of the right tools, youโ€™re capable of finishing what you start. Youโ€™ll be empowered and encouragedโ€”as if you had a writing coach (or three!) sitting alongside you.

About the INCREDIBLE authors behind this new book!!!!

Since 2010 their critically acclaimed website, GoTeenWriters.com, has offered honesty, community, and encouragement to teens (and not-so-teen) writers working to improve their craft. When not writing, blogging, or mom-ing, they can be found hanging out with young writers at conferences or wherever chocolate is being given away.

You wanna learn more? Go HEEERRRRREEEE!!!!!!!

Also, quick note about what’s coming up on TWN!! My next part on my writing series is coming up next week, I’m changing the topic to be on character emotions and writing them effectively. (Suggested by the awesome Joy Caroline!) And this upcoming month, TWN has been invited to do a few guest posts on this REALLY AWESOME BLOG!!!!! It’ll be my first time doing this, so I’m SOOO EXCITED!!! I’m gonna keep everything kind of quiet (to the best of my abilities) until then, but stay tuned for more info! Now, we’re onto all the fun, Thanksgiving SURPRISES!!!!

First off, in my thanks for all of the amazing questions submitted and awesome commenters on my interview with the MC of my WIP, Colin I’m gonna share with all of you a bit more of my writing stuff. A snippet from my writing!

But as I gazed off to the horizon, an unsettling feeling started to eat away those good ones. I gulped, fearing disaster had turned its course. And now headed my way.

I know. It’s probably the worse snippet to give. (Hehehehehe….)

Aaannnnddddd here’s a drawing I did a few weeks ago. But honestly, I don’t think it looks anything like the character it’s supposed to be. So, here’s a fun game we’re gonna play. *ignoring the list of other games I thought would be fun that wasn’t* In the comments, give me your best guess of who the dude in my drawing is!! Good luck!!!

Hi, everyone!!! Katherine here! I thought it would be fun to play Would You Rather today. Okay, so here are the questions:

Would you rather go to Hogwarts or Narnia?

Would you rather make friends with a fire-breathing dragon or an ice dragon?

Would you rather drink pumpkin spice water or eat pumpkin spice Pringles?

Would you rather spend the day with Jafar or Gaston?

Would you rather write a fight scene or a death scene?

Hope you enjoy the game. ๐Ÿ™‚

SOOOOO IN THE COMMENTS!!!!! Put your guesses to who the dude in the drawing is and your answers to Katherine’s fun would you rather game!!! Can’t wait to hear from all of you!!! And have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

This all sounds so exciting!! So proud of you that you’ll be finishing your second draft perhaps this week, Maggie! Literally, this week I’ve been screaming so hard. I reached my 50K word goal – in fact I have a 65K manuscript now!! I have really been powering through. The amazing thing is I noticed my progress has soared ever since I first found this blog. You all gave me so much encouragement the first time I commented, it’s affected my writing life! I have high hopes for both my book and yours. ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a great Thanksgiving. Dinner is the best part.

    • Maggie

Aw, THANK YOU, JOY CAROLINE!!!!! AAAAHHHHH *screaming with you* 65K!!!! THAT IS JUST SOOOO INCREDIBLE!!! Whoo! You go, Girl!!! *throwing out party streamers* I’m sooo proud of you. This deserves a celebration!! *passing out your favorite kind of cake* It’s time to bring out the party emojis I only use for special occasions!! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽˆ Oooh, here’s a virtual trophy: ๐Ÿ† Yeah, I just saw the trophy and knew I had to include it somehow. Though, I must say, I knew you could do it all along!!!!

Aw, THAT’S LIKE THE SWEETEST THING YOU COULD EVER SAY TO ME!!!! (Well….one of the sweetest.) I’m soo glad this blog is helping you! I have SUCH high hopes for your book!! I mean HOW could people NOT wanna read it!!??? It would make ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE! And I’ll be cheering you on wherever you choose to go with it!!!! I KNOW THAT YOU’VE GOT THIS!! (As far as hopes for my novel goes…it’s kind of low at the moment. But we shall see what God has planned for it. I trust HIM waaaayyy more than myself.)

You have an AMAZING Thanksgiving as well!!! Oooh, dinner is a good part….

      • Joy Caroline

Thanks for the virtual trophy! I actually did have cake today. It was for my brother’s girlfriend, since she just got her driver’s license, but in my mind I was congratulating myself. LOL! And special occasion emojis, too? I am soaring with happiness right now.
Thanks so much!! We’ll always be each other’s cheerleading squads. At times there will be bumps in the road, but God always has a plan. He’s given you this talent and love for writing, and He won’t let it go to waste!

        • Maggie

You’re welcome!!! Oooh, how exciting! LOL! Yeah, that’s what I would’ve done. YAY!!
YES! Each other’s cheerleading squads!! I LOVE THE IDEA!!!!! Couldn’t agree more. Sometimes it’s hard to understand God’s plan, but we know it’s there. And, that in itself, is a great comfort for me. Aww, THANK YOU!!! I don’t really know about the whole ‘talent’ thing, but I do hope He will use me as a writer one of these days.

    • Katherine

Hey, Joy!!! THAT’S INCREDIBLE THAT YOU HAVE A 65K MANUSCRIPT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *high-fives* YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Thanks!! High-fives to you, too!!! And thanks again. God provides us with the best friends!
Thank you so, so much for everything you’ve said to encourage me with my book. I don’t have anyone who cares quite the same way this community does. Hearing you guys say you believe is enough to keep me going for another day! Thanks so much, again!

        • Katherine

Thank you!!! You’re welcome!!!๐Ÿ™‚ I agree, GOD DOES PROVIDE US WITH BEST FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!! Aww, you’re welcome. I’m glad I was able to encourage you. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for your encouragement too!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I will always care, you can count on that.๐Ÿ‘ Places like this is a great way for us aspiring writers to connect with one another and it’s very encouraging! Aww, I’m so glad! This community of writers has encouraged me more than you’ll believe. You’re welcome and THANK YOU!!!

    • Em Elizabeth

I only recently discovered this site, and due to my crazy schedule, I haven’t had much time to really check it out, but I have to say, based on what I have seen, I love love love all the positive energy, encouragement, kindness, enthusiasm, and fun quirkiness that I’ve come across so far. To all of you, I wish the best of luck moving forward, and congratulate you on what you’ve done so far!

      • Maggie

EM ELIZABETH COMMENTED ON MY SITE!!!!!!! I’m sorry, guys, but this is BIG!!! Mostly, because we’ve chatted before on Go Teen Writers. And now she’s on MY SITE!!!! (Yes, Ally M. J., if you’re reading this, you got the same response when you first commented. I just wasn’t sleep-deprived at the time to where I typed everything that came to my mind. XD) Anyway, awww, this is just making me sooo happy!! THANK YOU!!! I’m soo glad you’ve enjoyed TWN so far! It means a lot!! THANK YOU! I wish you the best of luck, as well!

      • Katherine

HI, Em Elizabeth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for coming to our site and commenting THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! <3 <3 <3 Good luck with you as well! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Victoria

Oooh, how fun!!! Okay, I’m gonna guess that dude is the creepy kidnapper guy! (Wait, it is someone in your book, right? If it’s not I’ll change my guess.)

But nooow, ONTO THE QUESTIONS!!! *eagerly rubs hands together*
    1. I’d rather go to Narnia (mostly because I’ve never read the Harry Potter series and don’t really know anything about Hogwarts except that it’s a school.)
    2. Hehehe, fire-breathing dragon all the way! Think of all the things it could do! Roast marshmallows, start bonfires, burn math homework…. ๐Ÿ˜‰
    3. Ummm, not sure either sounds extremely appealing, but I’d go with the Pringles!
    4. Oh, dear. Well, as obnoxious Gaston is, spending a day with that guy actually might be pretty amusing. I mean, maybe he’ll let me ride his horse. XD
    5. Oooh, I’d rather write a death scene! It’d be fun ripping your reader’s hearts out by killing off a beloved character. *evil cackle*

Woo-boy, Katherine!!! That was fun! You should do it again sometime….. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks so much for this post and I’ll definitely have to check out Go Teen Writers! That sounds like a really good book to help with writing (which I sorely need) XD.

    Happy Thanksgiving, ladies! ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Maggie

Uhhh….no. It’s not someone from my book. Shoulda explained. Oops, my bad. I guess this means you get to guess again!!!!
YES! Thank you. Good to know I’m not the only person who hasn’t read the Harry Potter series. (Although, I’ve seen the movies, so I guess I might know a bit more than you.)
You’re welcome!! Glad you enjoyed it! XD I’m with you on that! I need all the writing tips I can get. (Especially if I’m supposed to give some on my blog…just saying.)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, VICTORIA!!! I hope you have a really great one!!!

    • Katherine

Hi, Victoria!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! I’m sooooooo happy you enjoyed the game!๐Ÿ˜€ Thank you. Lol! Love your answers! I’ve only read the first two books in Narnia and the first book in Harry Potter, but I’ve seen the movies, so I guess I knew enough for the question. Although, I didn’t know if I should say my answers or not.๐Ÿค” (I just had to use that emoji because it looked so cool and I’ve never used it before. XD) Oh, yeah, fire-breathing dragons are very useful. Burn math homework – LOL! Really great answers – I love how you gave your reasonings for each one.

      • Victoria

Awww! I’m so glad you like them! Yeeaah, I haven’t read all of the Narnia books either, but I aim to someday! I would love to hear your answers if you want to share them! (Lol, I totally understand about wanting to use emojis like that! XD)

        • Katherine

I aim to read them someday too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Okay, here’s my answers:
          1. I would rather go to Narnia in hopes that I might become queen or something.
          2. I think I would choose ice dragon (but I don’t know why ๐Ÿ™‚ ).
          3. Pringles because I LOVE Pringles! Especially the BBQ ones!
          4. I choose Gaston because he’s easier to deal with than Jafar.
          5. Death scene. (Think about all the ways you can make the reader cry!)

          ๐Ÿ˜€
          Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Victoria

Lol, gotcha! Hmmm, well, the first person I can think of is Loki from Marvel’s Avengers, but I honestly don’t know! That’s hard! XD
Yeah, I haven’t seen the movies either, so I’m sure you do know a lot more than I do!
    Thank you, I will! <3

    • Maggie

Nope! Man, he must really not look anything like the dude he’s supposed to be. If you wanna try again, I’ll give you a hint: he’s a character from a book that was later turned into a big-time movie. Good luck!
You’re probably the only person I know who can say that. XD
      <3 <3 <3

      • Victoria

Oooh, thanks for the hint! Okay, I wanna say he’s someone from Lord of the Rings? I can’t be specific with any names ’cause I have’t exactly seen the movies. *cringes* I know. I’m sooo behind on culture. I want to see them, but I don’t know when that’ll happen.
Lol, I’m probably the only person I know who can say that too! XD

  • Em Elizabeth

Hmmm… first question is tough because I’m a huge fan of both Harry Potter and Narnia… on one hand, I could learn how to do spells at Hogwarts… on the other hand, there’s no homework in Narnia…
I think I have to go with the classic fire breathing dragon.
While pumpkin spice water doesn’t sound great, I’m already a seltzer drinker, so maybe it wouldn’t be that bad?
I think I’d rather spend the day with Gaston, simply because his massive ego and tiny IQ would make him so fun to mess with… plus the scene in the tavern where everyone sings that song about him seems like it would be fun to witness firsthand lol.
I feel like I’d have more fun writing a fight scene, but I’d do a better job writing a death scene.

As for the guy in the drawing… I’m getting quest fantasy elf vibes of some sort… hmmmmm

  • Ally M.J.

These never seem to show up for me until like three hours later. XD
    WOULD YOU RATHER LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Would you rather go to Hogwarts or Narnia?
Hogwarts. Easy. Any other Slytherins here?
Would you rather make friends with a fire-breathing dragon or an ice dragon?
Ice dragon. Has anyone read Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland? Icewings are the best. I especially love Winter. Heโ€™s a cinnamon roll.
Would you rather drink pumpkin spice water or eat pumpkin spice Pringles?
I actually donโ€™t like pumpkin? *hides face* But I do love Pringles.
Would you rather spend the day with Jafar or Gaston?
Jafar. I wouldnโ€™t be able to stand in Gastonโ€™s presents without socking him in the left nostril. He put his muddy boots ON A BOOK, people. On. A. Book.
Would you rather write a fight scene or a death scene?
Donโ€™t take this the wrong way… but a death scene. Iโ€™ve killed off characters way too many times. *evil laughter*
AHH IM SO EXCITED FOR THE NEW TEEN WRITERS BOOK!

    • Maggie

Are you talking about the newsletter? If it’s that, then it might be ’cause I’m using the free, older version of this thing called MailPoet for the newsletters. That might be the reason why, though I really can’t understand it.
OOH, I JUST LOVE YOUR ANSWERS!!!!! And actually, I forgot about that thing with Gaston and the book. Now I have another reason why I SERIOUSLY DISLIKE HIM. And I’d rather write a death scene. For me, it’s ’cause I think it’s easier.
I’M SOO EXCITED FOR THE NEW GO TEEN WRITERS BOOK, TOO!!!
Ooh, I see you’ve got a picture now. I like it!! That’s really cool!!!

    • Katherine

Hiya, Ally!!!!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ Ooh, great answers!!! I haven’t read Wings of Fire, but I heard it’s good. Ice dragons are awesome. Oh, yes, Pringles are soooo good, especially the BBQ ones! ๐Ÿ™‚ I forgot what Gaston did to a book; that makes us readers like so mad at him. Lol! I’d rather write a death scene too. *evil laughing with you* Thank you for answering the questions!!!๐Ÿ™‚
IKR?! I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEW TEEN WRITERS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jane

I cant wait for the book to come out!! I have no Idea who’s in your drawing but it looks good ๐Ÿ™‚
    Ooh cool questions,
    1. I’ll have to choose Narnia, I havne’t read harry potter yet, and Narnia is awesome
    2. Fire breathing dragon because it can keep me warm while I’m writing and I get really cold feet if I forget to where socks
    3. Pumpkin spice water, they make pumpkin spice pringles!?
    4. I’d rather not hang with either of them, but I’m going for Gaston, I feel like he would be easier to tune out
    5. I love writing fight scenes mainly because there not as sad (I hate it when characters die, even if they’er evil) and I find fight scenes easier to build off (that may just be me)

These were so fun!! I didn’t see that you guys had posted anything new until this afternoon, so when I looked I was like aahhh noooo I missed it! I love this blog so much!! Happy Thanksgiving! <3 ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Maggie

      AAAHHH ME NEITHER!!!!
Ooooh, GREAT ANSWERS! ๐Ÿ‘ Glad to know I’m not the only one who hasn’t read Harry Potter yet, either. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Sometimes it feels like I am…. I honestly had no idea they made pumpkin spice water or pringles until Katherine was telling me. YOU’RE SOOO RIGHT!! Death scenes are just too sad sometimes. I will agree that fight scenes are easier to build on, so no, not just you.
I was wondering why you hadn’t commented yet. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I just got it up yesterday afternoon, so you haven’t missed much. I’m just glad you found it!! AW, I’M SOOO HAPPY YOU LOVE THIS BLOG!!!! And HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU, TOO!!! Did you eat any turkey yet? ๐Ÿฆƒ <3 <3 <3

Also, you're like my go-to girl to make sure the things I do are cool, so did you like seeing that extra section I added in the TWN newsletter? Oh, and also, I don't know if you saw I had chp. 1 up for my story on Critique Corner. You hadn't commented yet, so in case you missed it, I wanted to let you know. Especially 'cause chp. 2 is supposed to go up on Sunday.

    • Katherine

Hiya, Jane!!!๐Ÿ˜€ I know, I can’t wait for the book either! Thank you. Yes, Narnia is awesome. (Next time someone asks me where I’m from I’m gonna say Narnia. hehe.๐Ÿ™‚) Yes, fire-breathing dragons seem to be very useful. Oh my, maybe the dragon should remind you to where socks. XD I didn’t know about the pumpkin spice Pringles either until recently. ๐Ÿ™‚ Gaston is definitely easier to tune out. Fight scenes are a LOT OF FUN!!! Think about all the awesome punches and moves the character could do.๐Ÿ˜‰ Thank you! You didn’t miss anything; we’re still here. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you! I’m soooo happy you love our blog!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

  • Jane

I think we had Chicken but I’m not sure ๐Ÿ˜› Aw, THANK YOU soooooo much!!!! That makes me so happy!! Your my go-to girl to!! I really like the extra section that you added it looks really neat. And yes, I read chp. 1 (Which was AWESOME!!) I thought I had already commented on it but now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure I was thinking about the prologue. ๐Ÿ˜›
I hate critiquing people because I feel like I’m insulting they’er work. I really like when people critique me though because it helps me get better, so I’ll go comment on it right after I finish this one. ๐Ÿ™‚

Kathrine, you are so right! I should have the dragon remind me to wear socks! XD

    • Maggie

Hahaha! Yeah, I had steak, it was good though. (Not really a fan of turkey.) You’re welcome!!! YAY!! AWESOME!! I was hoping you’d like it. I thought it was a great way to inform people about what’s up with my writing (for those who might be interested, that is) and add in some quick writing encouragement or advice, ’cause I don’t always do a post on writing. Yeah, you commented on the prologue. I had actually been waiting for your comment on chp. 1 for over a week now.
I don’t always like critiquing people, either. Aw, you could never insult my work. <3333

  • Allie Jo Andersen

Hey! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!! I’m super excited for the guest posts!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oooh, that snippet is so good, Maggie!! So descriptive!! I love it! And the castle photo in that collage…. SO pretty!

Ooh, I love the idea of the “Would You Rather” questions!!

    Here are my responses:

Would you rather go to Hogwarts or Narnia? I’ve never read or seen any of the Harry Potter movies/books, so I’m going with Narnia for sure. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Would you rather make friends with a fire-breathing dragon or an ice dragon? I’d probably choose an ice dragon…. he seems like he’d be less destructive (and maybe he could teach me to ice skate XD).

Would you rather drink pumpkin spice water or eat pumpkin spice Pringles? Pumpkin spice Pringles….? I’d definitely choose the water here.

Would you rather spend the day with Jafar or Gaston? Oooh, this is a tough one. Jafar is ABSOLUTELY evil, so I’m going with Gaston, since he won’t try to put a spell on me while I am *forced* to hang out with him. XD

Would you rather write a fight scene or a death scene? I’d probably choose a death scene, since I prefer more emotionally-rich scenes (any “epic battle” scene attempts end up being not-so-epic).

    • Maggie

Oh, I did! THANK YOU!!!! I hope your Thanksgiving was AMAZING, too!! Hehehe….I can’t WAIT for the guest posts either!! ๐Ÿ˜‰
THANK YOU, ALLIE!!!!! Aww, THANKS A BUNCH again!!! Yeah, I really liked the castle pic, too. (Duh, Maggie, that’s why you put it in the college. ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

      GREAT ANSWERS!!!!
I’ve seen HP movies, but not really read the books. Good to know I’m not the only one, amiright! I KNOW RIGHT!!! Fight scenes are sooooooo hard. That might be a good writing post for me to do in the future. I’m sure I would learn a ton from it.

    • Katherine

Hi, Allie!!! Thank you. It was great! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving too!!! Me too!๐Ÿ˜‰

Thank you! I’m sooo happy you liked the idea!!!๐Ÿ˜ Thank you for answering the questions! Narnia is awesome! I’d love to learn to ice skate too! XD Good choice – Pumpkin spice water can’t be that much different than regular water, right?๐Ÿ™‚ Yeah, Gaston is not as scary as Jafar – but he better not put muddy boots on any books. XD I love emotionally-rich scenes too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are just so touching to the heart. Thank you for commenting! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Allie Jo Andersen

Hey, Katherine!! You’re welcome!! I’m so glad to hear!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Yes, I had a good Thanksgiving as well! ๐Ÿ™‚

You’re welcome!! Yeah, it’s a very fun way to get participation from the readers!! XD Yeah, I mean it’s just…. flavored water. I mean if you warm it up it’ll taste like tea, am I right? Yes, we shall keep Gaston far away from bookstores. XD Agreed, they can be pretty cathartic! You are very welcome!!

        • Katherine

          ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m glad!!!

I know right?! I love the interaction with the readers!!๐Ÿ˜ Yes, I’m sure you’re right. XD Agreed; Gaston won’t come anywhere near our books or he will seriously regret it. XD IKR?!๐Ÿ™‚

          • Ally M.J.

I have hidden my precious bundles of wisdom away. They are all in their disguises, with dragons and 10,000 squadrons of guards. Gaston will never find them.

            Do I have issues?
Wait! The Lost Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen! Put your fake mustache back on! *gasp* Keeper of the Lost Cities: Nightfall by Shannon Messenger! What are you doing? No, I donโ€™t care if itโ€™s uncomfortable! Put the nose on!

Yeah, see, this is what goes on in my brain.

            • Katherine

XD Oh, yes, Gaston will never find our books. They are heavily guarded with fire-breathing dragons and warrior elves.

XD I love fake mustaches! Ally, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE READING YOUR COMMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! They ALWAYS put a smile on my face!!!!๐Ÿ˜ It’s great to be real!

  • Jen

First, your drawing is really good, Maggie! Second, I didn’t mean to, but I accidentally saw who he is while scrolling down to comment. *hides* I was going to guess Legolas anyway, though. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Now to answer Katherine’s questions!

    1. Narnia forever!!!
    2. *squints… this is hard to decide* Umm, Ice dragon!
    3. Definitely Pringles. I love Pringles!
    4. Gaston. He is easier to manage than a crazy wizard, just give him a mirror and he’ll be entertained for hours. XD
    5. Hmm, I feel I write better death scenes than fight scenes. Granted, I’ve only written the one death scene. ;p So I’m going with Death Scenes!

This was fun! I hope y’all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! ^_^

    • Maggie

Aw, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH, JEN!!!!!!!!!! It’s TOTALLY okay!!!!! But, yeah, if you were going to guess him anyway, then that still counts, even if you saw it before commenting!!!!!!!!

Oooooh, THESE ARE SOME AWESOME ANSWERS!!!!!!!! NARNIA FOREVER!!!! *pumps fist in the air* Hehehe, that’s VERY true with Gaston. Yeah, I feel like death scenes are sooo much easier to write.
Oh, yeah, I had A REALLY GREAT Thanksgiving!!! I hope your’s was FANTABULOUS, too!! (Ha! Did you see what I did there?! I’m very proud of myself for finding a way to put fantabulous in.
