The Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Fairy Tale Tag Hosted by Fairy Tale Central

Once upon a time . . . I heard about a fairy tale tag. Seeing as how I LOVE fairy tales, I knew I had to participate in it.

Yep, you heard me right! A fairy tale tag hosted by Fairy Tale Central – the perfect place for all things fairy tale and any fairy tale lover! (Of course, you don’t have to like fairy tales to go to Fairy Tale Central. You just might not find their blog interesting.๐Ÿ˜‰) You can find more details on this linkup and the questions here.

Now it’s time to get into today’s post. *waving magic wand to transport all reader’s into my fairy-tale adventure*

ย

โ€“ Your father the king has declared a contest for your hand in marriage. But heโ€™s allowing you to decide what kind of competition it will be. What do you choose? Is there a penalty for losing, or do the losers just go home while the winner remains to marry you?

The competition I choose will probably be a deadly one. One where you will most likely die if you compete. If a man truly loves me, he will be willing to compete to prove his love for me. A magic spell will be on the competition so that if his heart is true and pure he will survive the competition. So, I guess that means that the penalty for those whose hearts aren’t true is death. (Whoopsie.๐Ÿ˜ฌ)

โ€“ Youโ€™ve just been told that youโ€™re the Chosen One โ€“ the heir to your kingdomโ€™s throne. Of course you demanded proof, but you didnโ€™t expect quite so much of it to be brought forward. You grudgingly ask the state of the land. Your kingdom is at war with two neighboring kingdoms, a third kingdom is expecting your kingdom to ally with theirs and help them fight in agreement with an old treaty, there is famine in two counties in the north, and the barons of the kingdom are fighting over who will supply the palace with food for the next year. What do you do first?

Oh boy! This sounds stressful. I think I would need to take something for my headache first. Then because we’re in a war, I would join an alliance with the third kingdom so together we can end the war with the other two kingdoms. After that I would somehow convince the barons to give the food to the two countries that desperately needed it.

โ€“ Youโ€™ve set off to find your fortune but end up caught in a storm in the middle of the night in an enchanted forestโ€ฆand thereโ€™s an ominous growl emitting from the trees. A warm looking cottage sits nearby but youโ€™ve heard that questionable figures dwell in this wood. Whatโ€™s your plan of action?

Hm, a growl coming from the trees, you say? Can I pull a plot twist and say that Sulley (from Disney Pixar’s Monsters Inc.) is in the trees?

If so, then Sulley can scare the witch that is most likely in the cottage so she will run away and melt in the rain from the storm. Then, me and Sulley can stay in the cottage until the storm passes.

โ€“ It is time to christen your dear new baby. Itโ€™s expected to invite the local fairies but theyโ€™re known for โ€œgiftingโ€ babies with less-than-desirable characteristics (Ella Enchanted-style). Do you invite them anyway or โ€œaccidentallyโ€ forget to send out an invitationย and risk the wrath of the petty (but powerful) fairy-kind upon your kingdom?

I think I would invite them anyway. I can’t risk a curse on my baby.ย

The “less-than-desirable” gifts can’t be so bad, right?

โ€“ Your fairy godmother grants the choice of three gowns for your one chance to meet the prince at the ball: a dress the color of the golden sun, a dress the color of the silver moon, or a dress the color of the sky. Which dress do you choose?

I’m choosing the one that is the color of the silver moon. I love the moon!!!! I could stare at it for hours.

โ€“ Your cursed beloved tells you that only when he marries a true-blood princess will he be set free. Do you choose to aid him by finding a princess that can set him free from his horrible curse? Or do you visit the witch of the forest and make a deal with her to become a princess โ€“ but you will only get to be with your prince one day a year.

Love is sacrifice so I will find a princess to set the prince free and I will wish him happiness.

โ€“ Youโ€™ve just completed a fairy tale adventure worthy to join the ranks of the worldโ€™s greatest legends. Alas, the kingdomโ€™s most famous minstrel is also notorious for adding his own embellishments. Would you rather have your story lost to the world, your name and deeds forgotten, or to to be known as a hero throughout the landโ€ฆjust in a very inaccurate and mangled version of the story?

Ugh, I don’t like it when people twist the truth of things. Anyway, my story doesn’t have to be shared with the rest of the world. If I was to tell my story to one person and it impacted them, then that is enough for me. One person can still make a big difference in the world.

โ€“ Youโ€™ve just been approached by a man in a pointy hat who says youโ€™re the chosen one destined to save a magical world. Before you enter the portal to this new world, you are allowed to take one piece of modern technology with you. What do you choose?

Easy! My laptop. That way I can still blog and chat with you wonderful people. (Maybe you guys can tell me how to save a magical world while we’re chatting? XD)

โ€“ Your parents have angered a powerful witch in your land, and she has chosen to strike out at you to punish your parents. However, since you werenโ€™t the one who actually angered her, sheโ€™s letting you choose your own fate: 1) sleep for 100 years and leave your parents to die of old age while you sleep, 2) be locked alone in a faraway tower so your parents will never find you, 3) lose your voice soย youโ€™ll never be able to speak to your parents, or 4) give you a fatal golden touch so that you canโ€™t hug your parents lest you turn them into statutes.

Uhhhh . . . I think I’m going with option #2. I’ll plan an escape to get out of the tower. And I’ll need a plan to make sure the witch doesn’t lock me up in it again.

โ€“ You just found out that you have a twin, and you two were separated from birth because an ancient prophecy claimed one of you would bring ruin upon the kingdom. Are you the prophesied twin of ruin, or is it your brother/sister? How do you figure that out, and what do you and your twin decide to do about it?

*gasp* I have a twin??? AWESOME!!!!! Well, I can’t let my twin sister be the twin of ruin. There may not be a way to figure out for sure who is the twin of ruin, but I’m going to say it’s me to save my twin her reputation. Now that we know about this prophecy we can change out destiny. (Although, I’m not exactly sure how we’re going to do that. Maybe we’ll get a fairy to help us out.)

Well, that’s the last of the questions. Like all good fairy tales, this one must come to an end. But I leave you a glass slipper as a souvenir of this adventure.

Before we close the book, tell me in the comments: What fairy tale is your favorite? Which gif above do you like best? What part of the adventure did you really like? Would you rather sleep for 100 years or be locked up in a tower? Would you invite the fairies to your baby’s christening? I can’t wait to hear from you!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

And we all lived happily ever after. The end.

~Katherine

This was such a fun post, Katherine!! And Boy would I have a hard time choosing for some of these! My fav was probably the first one. But I was strangely attracted to the cursed prince and your sacrificial act. *sobs* I kinda have a love-hate relationship with those kinds of stories…
    Anyways, lovely post dear!
    Keep livin’ for Jesus!

Good choice!๐Ÿ‘ Haha, I was pretty sad that I had to let go of my prince though. *sobs* Ah, interesting!!!!! Nothing wrong with a love-hate relationship with those stories.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ™‚
      THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Ooh I LOVEE Fairy Tales!!!!! My favorite is probably Sleeping Beauty. Aslo…GIFS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!! My favorite was the Tangled one. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
I liked the question about the cursed prince… ๐Ÿ˜€
Hmmmmmm sleep for a hundred years or be locked in a tower…I’d prefer to be locked in a tower, cuz I could escape…
    And I would invite fairies….LOL…

    • Katherine

Me too!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ Awesome!!!!! I LOVE Sleeping Beauty!!! I totally agree!๐Ÿ‘ Gifs are da BEST!!!!! Oooh, I really like that one too!!!!๐Ÿ˜‰ Tangled is one of my favorite movies EVER!!!!!!
Awesome choice!๐Ÿ‘ It was a great question . . . even though I’m sad about giving up my prince.๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜‰
Oooh, great choice!!!! Escaping a tower is waaayyyy easier than breaking a sleeping curse.
Haha, yes!!! You never know if the fairies give a really awesome gift. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Victoria

AAAHHHH!!!! AWESOME TAG, Katherine!!!!!!! I LOVED reading this post and seeing all the GIFS!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh, boy. *tries thinking of all the fairy tales I’ve heard of, but suddenly forgetting all of them* XD Ummmm, I think I would say one of my favorite fairy tales would be Beauty and the Beast, but mostly because of the message and themes in it. I also LOOOVE Cinderella (she’s hands-down my favorite Disney princess), but I’ve always been baffled by her ‘Midnight Marathon’. Like, how could a woman in a BALL GOWN and ONE HEEL OUTRUN a man?!?!?!? XD I’ve always thought that was kinda funny, but hey, that’s Disney for ya! ๐Ÿ˜‰ My favorite GIF would actually totally be the Cinderella one, though!!! (And the Tangled one!)

Hehehehe, my favorite part would be getting caught in the storm with Sulley!!!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ I would probably want to be locked up in the tower too! It would be really sad waking up after a 100 years and finding everyone you love is gone. ๐Ÿ™ Annnnd yeah, I would definitely invite the fairies. No need to make matters worse, by NOT inviting them!!! XD

(Also, you know how I said I needed help picking out a name for that kingdom??? Well, I TOTALLY forgot to say you can too if ya want!!! I didn’t want it to sound like you couldn’t, ’cause I need all the help I can get! XD But there’s totally no pressure; it’s ABSOLUTELY up to you!!! I just wanted to make sure to extend the ‘invitation’ if you wanted to help!) ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Katherine

THANK YOU SO MUCH, VICTORIA!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜ƒ I had a lot of fun with it!!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!!!!!

Hehe, there sure is a lot of fairy tales out there. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Oooh, I love Beauty and the Beast!!!!!!!! Oh, yes, it does have beautiful messages and themes in it!!! Cinderella is AMAZING!!!!! (Oooh, that’s cool!!!๐Ÿ˜€) I love her sparkly blue dress!!! I know, right?! XD Like, HOW did she outrun the prince?!?!?! XD Yep, Disney does things that don’t make sense sometimes, yet I still love their movies. XD ๐Ÿ˜‰ Ooh, yes, that was an awesome gif!!!!!! I love how it shows the slipper bounce off the steps! (Yes, that is a good one too!!!!!) Have you seen the live-action Cinderella, animated Cinderella, or both?

Hahaha, YES, I really loved that too!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ Sulley is AWESOME!!!!! Yes, that is a good choice!!! Yeah, that would be very sad.๐Ÿ™ Oooh, yes, me too! Lol, absolutely!!! XD

No worries, Victoria. You didn’t make it sound like I couldn’t help or anything. And it’s alright. I forget things all the time. XD Thank you for extending the invitation though!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ Hmmm, is there anything particular that resembles your kingdom? (For example: the moon or a rose.) Any letter in particular that you want the name to start with?

      • Victoria

        YOU’RE SOOO WELCOME, girl!!!!

YESSS!!! Her dress is GoRgEouS!!! XD And I TOTALLY agree with ya on Disney movies! They’re so fun to watch!! ๐Ÿ˜€ I’ve seen both Cinderella movies, but it’s been FOREVER since I saw the animated one! XD I think I prefer the live-action more and I especially like how they gave the prince a real name rather than just calling him Prince Charming! XD Which one do you like best?

Oh, good! I was kinda worried for a minute, but I should’ve known not to be. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Awww, you’re welcome!!! Okay, um, I actually don’t really “know” a whole lot about it yet, so I’m not sure if there’s anything that would be good to resemble it. I do know, however, that it’s supposed to be kinda medieval-y and for some reason I keep picturing it with a lot of gold…..*shrugs* I have NO idea where that idea came from. XD At first I tried coming up with a name that started with a “Z” (or some other cool letter that’s not usually used), but honestly it really doesn’t matter. Since it doesn’t play a HUGE part in the book I’m not too worried about specifics yet, so it’s totally up to you!!! I just thought it’d be fun asking for ideas to get the wheels turnin’ in ma brain! XD

        • Katherine

          ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ’—

I know, right?! XD I literally want her dress!!!!!!! Like, so badly!! XD Yes, Disney movies are so much fun!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ *high-fives* Same here – it’s been a long time since I’ve seen the animated one. The live-action one is my favorite too!!!!! I love the blue dress and fairy godmother’s dress! I also love how Cinderella met the prince before the ball! And, yes, I love how the prince has a real name now!!! XD

See, no need to worry! You couldn’t make me upset.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ™‚ Girl, you’re awesome!!!!!!!!! Oooh, medieval-y sounds really cool!!! XD Ooooh, I really like the gold too!!!!!! I came up with some ideas. You can totally change them up if you want. Like you said, they can get “the wheels turin’ in [your] brain”!๐Ÿ˜„ XD Here’s what I came up with: Aureate (this is a real word that means the color of gold), Zureate, Zurinov, Aureona, annndddd now my brain is outta ideas. XD

          • Victoria

LOL, same!!! It would be so much fun to wear it (but only for a little bit; I heard the corset is slightly tight)! XD Ohhhh, YESSS!!! I LOVE how the two of them met in the woods! That whole scene was so cute!!! (And, uh, I gotta say, it would be SO EPIC to get to ride Cinderella’s horse!) XD

D’awwww, thank you! You’re TOTALLY awesome too!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ AAHHHHH!!!!! Those names are AMAZING!!! I love all of them!! My wheels have really started turning now! XD THANK YOU SOOO MUCH, girl!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

            • Katherine

๐Ÿ˜„ (Oh, yeah, the corset is tight. I wouldn’t be able to breathe very long. XD) So, for the short time while wearing the dress, I’ll have to make sure to take LOTS of pictures!!! Oooh, yes, yes, that was such a cute scene!!!!! I love how she didn’t know it was the prince!!! And then, in the movie, the captain of the guard started to call the prince “Your Highness”, but the prince cut him off and said, “KIT! KIT! IT’S KIT!” – XD I love that part!!! (Ahhh, YES!!! So EPIC!!!!!!! I sooo wish I could ride her horse!!! XD)

Awww, thank you!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ YAY!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! I’m glad you like them!!!! Oooh, cool, we got your wheels a turnin’! XD Awww, YOU’RE SO WELCOME!!!!!!!! I was happy to help!!!๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

              • Victoria

IKR!?!?! It would be so fun to have a photo shoot or something with it! ๐Ÿ˜„ AAAHHHH!!! YES, I LOVE how he said that! It was just SOO adorable and funny!!! XD The whole meeting in the forest was probably one of the reasons why the live act was my favorite because Cindy ๐Ÿ˜‰ and the prince didnโ€™t really โ€œfall in loveโ€ the very first time they met. I mean, this prince DID like her, but their falling in love was more gradual as the movie progressed.

                Youโ€™re absolutely welcome!!!! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜€โค๏ธ

                • Katherine

AHHH, YES!!!!! A photo shoot would be so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜Ž Then we could make a scrapbook with all the pictures! ME TOO!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜„ I know, right?!!! It was hilarious!! XD That was one of the best scenes ever!!! I totally agree with you there!!!! It was definitely a more realistic falling in love. That’s one of the reasons I love the live action version too!!!! Have you seen the movie, Ella Enchanted? I think it’s a movie you would really like!

                  ๐Ÿ˜€โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’—

                  • Victoria

YES!!! A scrapbook would be so fun!!! XD Oooh, I’ve read the book Ella Enchanted, but I haven’t seen the movie before! I’ll definitely have to check it out! Thanks for the recommendation!! ๐Ÿ˜€ <3

                    • Katherine

YEESS!!!! Absolutely!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ XD I’ve read the book too!!! The movie is really good!!!!! You’d love it! You’re welcome!๐Ÿ˜€<33

  • Christine Smith

Aaahhh, Katherine! I’m so glad you did the tag. This was GREAT. I was giggling so hard at the idea of Sulley being the one in the forest. WHAT A TWIST! XD And the idea of bringing your laptop and asking the internet how to help during all your adventures is too funny. That WOULD be exceedingly helpful though. Plus you can Google things like how to bind up sword wounds and such. ;D

This was so much fun to read. Thank you for joining our tag!

    • Katherine

๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ I LOVE this tag so much!!!!! It was so much fun and very creative!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!! Hehehe, it would be really cool to see Sulley in the forest!!!๐Ÿ˜ I’m so happy it made you laugh too!! Hehehehe, I’m gonna need a LOT of help from the internet!! XD Oooh, yes, Google will REALLY come in handy! XD

Thank you so much!!!!! You’re welcome! I’m so glad I participated in it!!!

    • Katherine

Thank you so much, JC!!!! Oof, then I better not send you to a fairy tale. XD You need to remain alive. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Haha, I can be a bit reckless myself ’cause of my adventure streak. Yes, ’cause laptops are just so useful!!!๐Ÿ˜

  • Em Elizabeth

This was such a fun post! I loved reading it!
I’ve always loved fairy tales. I’m a super indecisive person, so I’m not sure which is my favorite. As a kid, I loved Little Mermaid and Cinderella, but I’m also a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast and a few lesser known tales that I heard in a fairy tales literature class I took last year (it was a lot of fun! I loved learning new tales and hearing the original versions of old ones to see what stayed the same vs what changed over time). I also love fractured fairytales and retellings.
I love the Tinkerbell gif! I used to watch the Disney fairy movies all the time when I was younger. And I think I’d choose to get locked in a tower, because, as you said, I could always escape. However, if the whole world could freeze in time with me, I don’t think I’d mind sleeping for a couple decades, just to get some much needed rest lol!

    • Katherine

Thank you so much!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!!!
Yes, me too!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ I’m very indecisive too, so I know what you mean about not being sure which is your favorite.๐Ÿ˜‰ Oooh, those are AWESOME fairy tales!!!!!!! THAT IS SO COOL YOU TOOK A FAIRY TALE LITERATURE CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜ƒ It sounds like a lot of fun learning about all sorts of fairy tales!!!! Oooh, yes, fractured fairy tales and retellings are the BEST!!!!!! I’m currently reading a retelling on the princess and the pea. It’s called The Princess Companion by Melanie Cellier. It’s really good!
Nice choice!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ That is a really good one!! I used to watch the Disney fairy movies too and I read a lot of the books.
Great choice!๐Ÿ‘ Yep, escaping shouldn’t be too hard, am I right?!๐Ÿ˜‰ That’s true too – if time froze, then sleeping for a hundred years shouldn’t be a problem. Lol!

  • Jen

I loved reading all your answers, Katherine!!! ^_^

Oooh! Great way to solve all the kingdom’s problems! *high-fives*

Oh my goodness! I about died over Sully being the monster! XDDD

Your answers to your cursed beloved and the minstrel are so noble! <3

Hehe, and YES! Using your laptop to get answers to how to save the world, awesome! XD

I love your answers to the last two questions!

This was SO much fun to read! ^_^

    • Katherine

      Thank you so much, Jen!!!!!!^_^

Thank you!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ *high-fives back* I’ll admit, it was a bit tricky trying to figure out what to do first. ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„ Hehehe. Sulley is the best monster ever!!!!! You gotta love him!๐Ÿ˜‰

      Awww! Thank you!!!๐Ÿ˜Š

Why thank you!! *flips hair* It was pretty clever, wasn’t it? XD XD

      THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!:D

Thank you, Jen!!!! I’m SO HAPPY you enjoyed it!!!!!!! Truly!!<3<3

  • Jane

Once upon a time, there was a girl who was late to reading a blog post. . .

*bends over to catch my breath* I FINALLY made it over here!!!!!! *Waves to everyone* *looks at the title* *gasps* I LOVE fairy tales!!!!!!!! I can’t believe you were able to answer the questions!! They looked sooooo hard!!!!! I mean, seriously, having to choose between giving up ones beloved or only seeing them once a year, plus, having to decide whether you want your baby to be cursed or given less-than-desirable characteristics (I would invite the fairies anyway, though I wouldn’t like it and I would give them the most uncomfortable chairs to sit in XD) would have me slamming my laptop closed, hiding under a blanket, and glaring at it from across the room. XD And that part with Sulley was pure genius!! I never would have thought of that!!! I would try to make friends with the thing in the woods and hope it wouldn’t tear me to bits. XD
I really liked the part where you found out you had a twin!!!! (Does Issabelle know yet? because if not then let’s just say the twin is me and “misplace” the real one. XD)
I loved the tinker bell GIF!!!! Probably because I love tinker bell. ๐Ÿ˜›
I would travel back 100 years back in time so that when I woke up I would be well-rested and I would still get to see my parents!! (or I would take my parents with me and we could all sleep for 100 years)
Anyway, great post!!!!!!!! I loved reading through your answers!!!!! <333 Ooh, we can be Fairytaleoligists together!! (fairly-tale-oligists, or fairy tale scientists. Those are TOTALLY a thing. XD)

    . . . The end.

    • Katherine

๐Ÿ˜„ Once upon a time, another girl read the comment to the blog post . . .

*gives you water and chocolate* Hi, Jane!!!!!!!!! Glad you could make it!!!!!!! *waves* *gasp* No way!! Me too!!!!!! Haha, I can’t believe it myself! XD They were hard questions and I was worried I wasn’t answering them smart enough. XD I know, right – they were seriously hard choices! XD (Smart choice!!!!๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘ Haha, that is a genius idea!!!! And very sneaky too!๐Ÿ˜‰ I LOVE it!!!!!! *rubbing hands together* *evil laughter heard in the distance*) Oh deary me, I’m going to go hide under the blanket with you!! We’ll glare at those tricky questions together. XD
Ahh, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜ƒ I still surprised that I even thought of it!! Trying to make friends with the thing in the woods is probably the best bet. Fingers crossed extra tight that it won’t tear you to bits. I’ll follow along with a weapon of some sort. I’m not going to let the monster in the woods take my friend away. No siree.
Hehe, thank you!!!!!! (She probably knows ’cause she read the post, buuuttt maybe she forgot. Sooo, You are officially my twin now!!!!!!๐ŸŽ‰ Whoo-hoo!!!! You are the BEST twin ever!!!!!!! And anyways *cough* Is was never my twin to begin with *cough cough*. So that already left room for you to fill the position.)
Oooh, yes, the Tinkerbell one was really great!!!!!! Excellent choice!!! I love Tinkerbell too!!!!!๐Ÿ˜œ
Okay, that is seriously a GENIUS idea!!!!!!!! Why didn’t I think of it before now?๐Ÿค” Traveling back 100 years or taking our parents with us is just pure genius!!!!!!
Thank you so much, girl!!!!!!!!!<3 I am truly so happy that you loved reading my answers!!!!!!!!!!!<3<3<3 Oooh, we will totally be Fairytaleoligists together!!!!!!!!! *high-fives* (Yes, I will agree with you that it is totally a thing!! XD)

      . . . The end.

  • Alexa

OOooooooooh, I loved this post! It was SOOO fun to see what you would do in those situations! Would I rather sleep for 100 years or be locked up in a tower? Hmmm. Probably be locked in a tower that way there might be a slim chance I can escape instead of lying on a bed for 100 years wasting my life, you know? XD

    • Katherine

Yay!!!!!! Thank you so much, Alexa!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ I had a lot of fun coming up with my answers!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ THANK YOU!!!!!
Oooh, good choice!!๐Ÿ‘ Plus, being locked in a tower means you also have all that free time to pursue hobbies and lots of reading and writing time. XD Oh, yeah, I would so not like wasting my life away by sleeping. XD Thank you so much for commenting!!!!!!!<3

  • Ribbon Ash

LOVED all your answers to this tag!!!!! It was so fun to read! You were so noble in helping your prince and letting him be with someone else. I didn’t do that when I answered that question. XD Oh, my top favourite fairy tale (I don’t know why exactly) is King Grisly Beard. I’m actually planning to do a retelling of that tale too. I liked both The Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella gif. All of it? Honestly all of your answers were just the best. ๐Ÿ˜€ Locked in the tower. No one wants to sleep that long. Yep, I would. It is better than their wrath, you know?

    • Katherine

THANK YOU SO MUCH, Ribbon Ash!!!!!!!!! Yay, I’m so glad to hear!!!!!!!! Aww, thank you!!! It was a tough decision though. XD Lol, I keep meaning to read your answers to the tag. I just haven’t gotten to it yet. But I will read it hopefully super soon.
Oooh, that’s so cool!!!!!! I haven’t heard of the King Grisly Beard before, but now I want to go research what it’s about!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ Oooh, a retelling sounds like a FANTASTIC idea!!!!!!!!! I will TOTALLY want to read your retelling!!!!!!!! Awesome choices!!!๐Ÿ‘ I really like those gifs too!!!!!! When I first saw them I knew I HAD to include them in my post!!!!!!!! They just say fairy tales so PERFECTLY!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!! I’m so glad you really liked my answers!!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€ I agree, being locked in a tower is definitely better than sleeping for a long time. Same!!! I know, right?! The fairies wrath is NEVER a good thing.
Thank you so much for commenting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€

      • Ribbon Ash

Oh, that’s okay! I completely understand not being able to read all of the blog posts!
It is a pretty obscure fairy tale. I don’t even remember how I came across it now. When I first read it, I didn’t think it was anything special, but then it stayed with me and I got obsessed with the tale. Only recently have I found the right ideas to make a story out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m really excited about it. ๐Ÿ˜€ Thank you!!!!!!!!! I’m so happy that you like the idea already!!!!!! <3

        • Katherine

Phew, I’m glad your not mad or anything. I know, it’s so hard to read all the blog posts of everyone I follow, but I try to do the best I can. Though I still can’t wait to read your post because it looked like it was TOTALLY AWESOME and EXCITING to read!!!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€
Ooh, interesting! Haha, it sounds like a cool fairy tale (that’s probably why it stayed with you๐Ÿ˜‰)!!!!!! COOL!!!!! It’s always nice to be excited about new ideas!!! I hope you have a super fun time writing your story!!!!!! You’re welcome!!!! Yes, I just can’t wait till you write it and I get to read it!!!!!!!!๐Ÿ˜€<3

          • Ribbon Ash

Of course I am not mad! That’s so unreasonable considering people do have lives outside the blogosphere! Aww, thank you! When you do read it, I hope you enjoy it!!!!
