The Nightmare Virus by Nadine Brandes Book Cover Reveal

Hello lovely readers, and welcome back!! I am so excited and honored to be here today to share with you the cover reveal for The Nightmare Virus by Nadine Brandes!! I’ve already taken a peek, and let me say that it is absolutely STUNNING!!!! And the book’s blurb sounds equally amazing!!! After reading Romanov then Fawkes and then recently Wishtress by Mrs. Brandes, I am absolutely excited for her newest book, and I wanted to share that excitement with all of you! The Nightmare Virus will be released in July 2024 by Enclave Publishing!!!

The Nightmare Virus is going to be a YA science fantasy standalone. I don’t think I’ve read anything in that genre before, so I’m super excited to try this one out. Plus, I know it’s going to be FANTABULOUS because it’s written by the talented Nadine Brandes herself! All of her books are amazing!! And the best news is that the hardcover for her newest book is already available to preorder!!!

The Nightmare Virus Synopsis

Some viruses go after the body. But the Nightmare Virus goes after the mind.

When dream technology goes wrong, a virus spreads across the globe, trapping people in a universal dreamscape. They call it the Nightmare Virus.

Cain Cross is determined to find a cure…if he can decipher his brother’s chicken-scratch formula notes. But when he gets infected, he has only 22 days until he’s trapped in the mental prison forever. Now, every time he falls asleep, he must fight in a Nightmare Arena until he earns his freedom to live in the “new world” that exists only in the mind.

Then he finds a way to manipulate the Nightmare—to change it by mere thought.

Oh my goodness, isn’t it gorgeous??!! I love the colors and the boy’s silhouette and the scene inside the silhouette!!!!! Aaaah, it’s so cool!!! (It kinda reminds me of the cover for Thirst by Jill Williamson. But that’s probably because they both have the boy silhouette.) The Nightmare Virus‘ cover designer, Emilie Haney, did a fantastic job!! Eee, I can’t wait for it’s release!!
