Tell Me You Love Me is Released! (He Wanted My Heart is Officially Published + Story Trailer!)

Happy Valentine’s Day! And what perfect way to celebrate than to announce the release of a romance anthology? That’s right! The Christian romance anthology, Tell Me You Love Me, is now published and available for purchase! Click here to buy an ebook or paperback copy of Tell Me You Love Me. And that also means that my short story, “He Wanted My Heart” is now published! 😀 I can’t believe it! A story idea and characters that came to mind more than a year ago is now in print! I am ever so grateful that God has allowed this for me. “He Wanted My Heart” is one of my favorite short stories I’ve written thus far. (Though this is probably because I love the characters so much. XD)

While you’re here, I’ll let you in on a little secret: I have an idea to write a story about Adrian, one of the side characters in “He Wanted My Heart.” And maybe after that, I’ll write another story about Clarissa and Greyson. (I don’t know for sure yet if I’ll follow through with that plan.) When Clarissa and Greyson’s story first came to me, I felt like I knew enough to possibly write a novella length for them (or even novelette length). But when I decided to tell their story in short story length, I cut out a lot of stuff and condensed it. I’m very happy with how it turned out though, and I think the shorter length was perfect for their story. However, if Clarissa and Greyson seem like they need more of their story told, then I am prepared for that, lol. But for now, I have plans for Adrian’s story next.

Anyway, that’s just me sharing some writing plan secrets, which I don’t normally do, so lucky you! XDD

He Wanted My Heart is a fairytale-type romance story that is featured in the Tell Me You Love Me Christian romance anthology.

About Tell Me You Love Me

Tell Me You Love Me – a timeless collection of stories that truly understand the meaning of “I love you”

Twelve young Christian authors have come together, alongside romance novelist Grace A. Johnson and editor Issabelle Perry to show our world of depravity and cheap imitations of romance what love really means: faith, hope, and sacrifice.

These stories range from contemporary YA to historical to fantasy, and tell diverse, unique love stories that compel, captivate, and warm readers’ hearts with their sweet and authentic nature.

Featuring work from Michaela Bush, Saraina Whitney, Karynn Heckler, Margaret Copeland, Lucia Molano, Sarah Lawton, Brooklyn O’Brennan, Mackenzie Hendricks, H.S. Kylian, Lydia M. Jupp, Katherine Perry, and Amelia Cabot, the Tell Me You Love Me anthology is the collaboration of talented and inspirational young writers you’ve been waiting for!

About “He Wanted My Heart”

A rude and arrogant man from Clarissa’s past has shown up asking for her hand in marriage. Her initial denial doesn’t work as Greyson tries to win her favor. Through the next several weeks, she begins to see a side of him she never thought existed. Could it be he’s had a change of heart, or does he have some ulterior motive? And what of her own changing feelings?

If you want to learn more about Clarissa and Greyson and check out their Pinterest board, then you can read this blog post here! And now, the thing I have been MOST excited to share with you all is the STORY TRAILER I made for “He Wanted My Heart”!!!!! This is my first time doing something like this, and although there was a lot of frustration and complications, it turned out to still be so much fun to make! I hope to do it again sometime! Anyway, here it is:

Have you ever read an anthology before? If so, what was it? If you enjoy reading romance, what’s your favorite romance story? Do you enjoy watching book trailers? If you watched the trailer above, what was your favorite scene in it? Anything you want to say, let me know in the comments below!
